March has already practically disappeared (as I said in the month in review post for February, where the hell does all of the time go?) but these last two weeks have seen some awesome drops in French house and future funk, so they have to be covered! FIBRE x Aritus - Virtues EP (Deluxe) For me, this is the release of the month. Initially released in 2016 by FIBRE and Aritus on their label Future Society, today Neoncity Records have reissued classic EP Virtues and added loads of awesome bonuses in the process - including several bonus tracks and three remixes from some of future funk's greatest (ConsciousThoughts, Rhodes Rhodesu and Vantage!) On the whole, the original EP is irresistibly funky throughout, with some incredible sample selections and incredibly punchy production, typical of both FIBRE and Aritus (and they can do no wrong!) - my favourite tracks from Side A include Always, Zenith and the original version of Odyssey, wh...
